Just to let you know, I’m still working at home. Which is good and bad at the same time. Good because I can sort my time out and avoid traffic, noise and other anoying things like that. I can also choose the projects I’ll work with, instead of doing boring and repetitive stuff. And bad because I have to be always prospecting and looking for opportunities so I can get enough to keep my life and plans going on.

By the way, I’ll be in the US on september. I’ll fly with my girlfriend and visit Miami, NYC and Boston. I’ll watch the 2010 US Opens final tennis match in NY. That’s gonna be awesome! Wich means 2 Grand Slams in the very same year! I went to Rolland Garros as well. In Boston I’ll watch 2010 Rush’s rock band tour. Can’t wait!

Today is my girfriend’s birthday. So I’m leaving soon to have lunch at her place and tonight there will be a petit-comité party to celebrate this date.

I’m very sorry if you tried to find something here lately. My brand new girlfriend, my load of work and my forthcoming trip to France are part of my excuses for that. I’m afraid I wont post anything until I get back from Europe on early June. Sorry for that. Meanwhile I’ll be posting in portuguese (sorry again guys) at http://moitourdefrance.wordpress.com/. Carnival was as plain as it can be for me. Working at my computer, not going anywhere to play, just two bike rides in a 4 days holiday. Too bad.

Sorry for being far from here lately. I’m quite busy with my work routine and french classes.

My contract at the Ministry of Agriculture is ending and I’m still looking for something else after that. Meanwhile I’m loving my french classes and my classmates. There will be happy-hour tonight. Wich usually means lots of fun.

Mutuca is getting bigger and heavier. I’ll post a pic of here soon. She’s lovely. Excellent behaviour.

I’m not running, nor playing tennis, or cycling. Nothing at all. Only few exercises during the weeekend. Wich is a shame. I swear, as soon as my french classes ends, wich will happen in two weeeks, I’ll be back on the sweat! At least I walk Mutuca four times a day, which is also good for me.

Hey, I haven’t changed the language of this blog. Yet. It’s just a quick practice of my french classes. Tough to learn I would say. I’ve never tryed french before and a huge mess is going inside my mind every night since I’ve started the course. Hope I survive at the end of it with something usefull to my trip to France in may. Which is now under some risk of do not happen.

I’m leaving my job and, hopefully, taking a new one as soon as I quit. The point is: I don’t know if I’ll sort things out to have one free month to go Europe beeing just started a new job. Shame! I already have tickets, stay and lots of plans for this trip. Please, cross your fingers for me and let’s see what happens.

These days are too busy for a beginning of year. All the negotiations of quiting one and taking another job. Plus Mutuca’s demands. Plus freelances to deliver. Plus new idiom to learn. Equals a lot of stress and lack of time for going out, watching movies, running and stuff. I’ve, at least, found some time, in between these tasks, to read a very good book so far. “OPEN”, Andre Agassi’s autobiography. Obliged reading for any tennis fan.

Today is my father birthday, CONGRATS DADDY! I wish you all the best, ever!
Tomorrow there is a big chance of beeing an interesting/fun night. Hope it work out.

happy for being there

Hi there!

Happy 2010! How has started your new year?
I’m back from the Big Island. Safe. Unfortunately there was a tragedy there the day I left the island. After 48h of pouring rain a huge avalanche of mud, vegetation and rocks hit a hostel at one of the beaches I stayed. It happened only 2 days after I left that beach.

Before that I had lots of fun and enjoyed each place I visited. I walked far and heavy with my backpack. I met nice people, wonderful beaches, many lizards, 2 squirrels, 3 monkeys, 4 snakes and some interesting birds too. It was great!

Back home I found everyone I missed during these days. Mutuca especially

But yesterday was awful. I spent the entire day sick after eating something that wasn’t ok.
To make it worst I’m under an attack of the hiccups. It started on sunday after lunch and they are bothering me until now. Toooo bad!

Also great news from my Euro trip. I’ve made contact to some friends I met last year in Aconcagua, a lovely couple from France. It seems they have some good knowledge about Mont Blanc and are also keen on meeting us up there. Awesome!

Christmas are too close and ‘d like to wish you all the best for this night and for the entire 2010 that is comming too. Do what you like, be healthy and happy with all around you. And please, do not loose touch.

One more week to get to the beach!

After 2 years without laying under the sun, swimming and having fun at the brazilian sand beaches I’ll finally have some free time to rest and enjoy the end of the year and the beggining of the next one.

Not too many rest, tough… My plan is to fly to Rio and then head towards an island called “The Big Island“. I visited this place 10 years ago. It’s lovely! Huge tropical forest plus quiet and beautiful sand beachs. And this time my plan is to contour its 70 km walking and camping by the beaches. On my own. My New Year’s Eve will be there and I still don’t know if I’ll stay at some village or just put myself at some isolated place and wait for 2k10 to born.

Keeping my original planning, now I have my older brother and his wife joining me. We intend to rent a campervan and do all that stuff I told you guys in the early post.

My plan is to fly from Brazil to Paris. I want to climb Mont Blanc, the highest mountain wholly within Europe. But before getting there I intend to ride the 600 km til Chamonix on a bike. That’s gonna be great! I can’t wait!

I’m still planning and collecting information about it all, best season to go, places to visit and also looking for company. Would you join me? I’m actually looking for someone who knows the Mont Blanc. I want to descend it on skis and I originally plan to be there on may/2010. If you know someone that could help me with information, or even better, want to join me at some point of this trip, please, let me know. I would appreciate.

I believe I will stay on Europe the whole month of may. If so, I’ll also have a chance to watch some matches at Rolland Garros. Perfect ending for my first Euro Trip.

So, if you have some tip to give me about Europe, if you wanna meet me (that’s for you guys, euro friends from Australia and NZ) or have any info that could help me at this planning stage, I would love to hear from you.
